		<description>Okay.. now that the excitement of Mike blogging is gone, (and with PDEng in front of me) I can properly comment now. 

The most unusual thing I heard on the subway was about family violent. You really don&#039;t have a choice on a crowded subway train, but to listen. It was two women in their late 30&#039;s, early 40&#039;s. One was being abused by her husband, and the other one was retelling stories of her friend being abused. Cops were involved, not to mention the visible bruises and cuts, and how she ran out of the house bare-foot. It&#039;s chilling. I know family abuse exists, but I don&#039;t know any around me. It was a harsh reminder. As they sat down, I saw them merely as two working women. As they left, my view point of them changed.</description>
